Erin M. Rice is currently a PhD student at the Freie Universität Berlin in Germany. Her research focuses on the appropriation of printed and dyed textiles in Nigerian art and fashion since the 1960s. Originally from the US, she completed a BFA at Providence college in 2006 and an MA in art history from Tufts University in 2010. She has taught art history at several universities in the United States, and continues to teach in various capacities, most recently as a mentor in the Goethe Institute’s ‘Managing the Arts’ online course.
Since 2014, Erin has been the project coordinator from the Asiko International Art Programme.
