My first trip to Maputo, Mozambique was incredible. The cityscape, architecture and people around it fascinated and caught my attention.  Of course language was a barrier and the driver who came to pick me up couldn’t speak English but despite the language we had our own dialect to communicate with. The first words l recall are “como estas”, How are you?
