Yves Jonathan MAKONGO NSOBLEY was born January 20, 1984 in Douala, Cameroon.
He is currently artistic assistant and project manager at the contemporary art center doual’art.
He graduated in Human Geography from the University of Douala, where he obtained a Master I in Environment in 2009.
He is a permanent employee at doual’art since January 2011; he served as assistant to the artistic director for the set design and exhibition installation. He is responsible for the control and supply.
Currently he is in charge of the new draft at doual’art on lobbying in the field of Human Rights and reflection on an artistic approach of Rights. It keeps track of different projects. He contributed to the success of SUD2013, Douala Metamorphoses, triennial of contemporary art organized by doual’art alongside Didier Schaub. Among other realization of monitoring activities of public art projects, he performed parts of monographs, directed and supervised questionnaire surveys in the field.
The causes that are important to him are: Human Rights, Art and Culture, Health and Environment.
